A note from the owner

I'm here to announce the start of a project that is very dear to me and, as time goes on, I hope it will mean something similar for you. This new part of our newsletter is going to feature stories from people from all over the World who have been impacted by CSz Houston and ComedySportz. From New York to LA or Aruba to Prague, ComedySportz has most certainly left an impact on the improvisors that grew up here, both literally and figuratively. It's impact is vast; it reaches across thousands of miles and every walk of life. CSz has filled our lives with many experiences and stories, and we want to share those stories with you! Cool? Cool.

Auditions for ComedySportz are coming up in April!

Do you have what it takes?

CSz Houston is excited to announce that we will have auditions to make the ComedySportz team on Tuesday, April 5th 2016!

If you're always being told you're the funniest person around the water cooler or your family has all but disowned you because you are just too clever with puns, boy we have a place for you!

Auditions are open to the public and no experience is required! To register click here or call the box office at 713.868.1444!

5 Things I Learned From ComedySportz

Performing a show for everyone means finding these intersections between people, pieces of common ground that allow us to relax and enjoy the time we have together. If you step on stage with that intent, your presence is inviting, your shoulders are at ease and you don't mind looking the audience right in the eye to say hello. A big smile and a genuine sense of hope goes a long way.
